Supernatural tells the story of the brothers Dean and Sam Winchester. Their mother was killed by a demon which changed their life.
Their father John became a demon hunter on the hunt for the killer of his wife while the both boys where more or less left alone and being raised by friends or relatives.
While Dean helps his father as a demon hunter Sam wants to lead a normal life. But his dream of normality is shattered when his girlfriend is killed in the same manner as his mother.
Only wanting to help Dean out to find their vanished father he now decides to lead his brother's life.

The extraterrestrial Klaatu lands on earth - accompanied by a powerful robot with the name Gort.
