Fire Snake Month (May 5th - June 5th)
Water Snake Year (February 10th 2013 - January 30th 2014)
This is a lucky year for Edward Fox - let mistrust go and be guided by fate
After last year's rather turbulent times there is now more calmness in sight for ox-born Edward Fox, which he should like a lot since the ox is not necessarily known for liking the constant excitement and activity. As much as Edward Fox perhaps likes to retreat to the background, don't do it! The water snake ruling this year is a great benefactor to the ox offering great opportunities both in the professional as well as the private area. Edward Fox, this year is a good time to put plans into reality even if there might be some disturbances. It is a good time to make new friends and have great encounters because Edward Fox's carefulness is truly appreciated now.
In the profession Edward Fox should receive a lot of acknowledgement and it is much easier for him to assert his with the influence of the water snake backing Edward Fox up. Detailed work is much easier to do and Edward Fox possesses a knack for arguing in a better and glibly way.
The water snake helps Edward Fox to deepen existing bonds and strengthens his courage to make long overdue decisions. Even marriage cannot be excluded under such great aspects.

The Metal Horse is Edward Fox's day master which makes him vital, sportive and superior to everyone else. Edward Fox possess a high opinion of himself and makes decisions on his own without asking others. Edward Fox is quick and does not always think his decisions through.
Edward Fox wants to have a word in everything and always wants to win. Edward Fox possess a lot of courage and does not shy away from risks. Edward Fox wants to be perceived as a strong person and winner. He has his own personal opinion and can be strictly persistent about it until the bitter end.
Edward Fox is not very accommodating and expects obedience. He wants to show his strength of character through responsibility and respect and can act and react quite aggressively.
Edward Fox can easily be found out because he thinks, talks and acts simple, naive and not in the slightest in a sly manner. Edward Fox starts many things very euphorically but is not able to finish everything or Edward Fox simply doesn't start to put his plans into reality.
The first marriage can become difficult because the partner often is too boring and too honourable in the long run. Edward Fox is good looking, honest and possess a good character.
The Yang Metal day master is mounted on the Horse and forms the personality pattern Zheng Guan (authority) and the Nayin earth on roadside. The Qi Phase is Mu Yu (cleansing).
Note: The element combination of the day master is considered to represent the me and provides the person with a set of basic traits that are influenced by the other element combinations of the year, month and hour.
This ox is resolute, stubborn and even proud. Being a materialistic, dynamic, ardent and direct person he hates laziness. He is a terrifying opponent and a generous friend. He is sincere, responsible and very close to the morals and the principles. Loyal as he is, he would never abuse his strength and use his qualities to the utmost. He is the man (the woman) for impossible tasks.
The month of the Dragon gives the ones under his influence a bigger scale at authenticity and ingenuity. People, who produced a great original performance, are often born in the month of the Dragon: for example Sigmund Freud, Dali or Richard Wagner. The task of these people should be to enrich the world positively through their ingenuity.

Aries-Oxen take everybody on their horns who happen to be in their way. Their will is untameable but also not controllable. They are less domestic than other oxen.
The elements and respective signs by the teachings of Bazi Suan Ming give a more complete analysis of a person than the normally known only chinese year sign. In Bazi Suan Ming ("Four Pillars of Destiny = eight signs") the day sign is the one that represents the me, and thus the key personality of a person. Of course the interaction between the elements and signs play also a significant role. Going into the depth of how to calculate those elements and how they interact with each other would go a step too far on this page. Only a person can be defined by his or her 8 elements which are represented by four heavenly stems and four earth branches. The earth branches consist of one of the animal signs which in themselves also represent an element.
The Year Pillar shows the relationship with family and society at large.
The Month Pillar represents your childhood and how you relate with your parents.
The Day Pillar provides information on your relationship with your spouse or partner - whereas the Day Stem (the upper sign) is considered your "Self Element" as it represents you within the chart.
The Hour Pillar refers to career and/or the relationship with children.
Each element (each phase) in the chart represents a specific person and your path in life. An optimal balanced element chart features each of the elements in the same strength, which of course, is seldomly the case. The interaction of the heavenly stems among each other as well as with the earth branches can create more elements.

As you can see I do not have the birth hour for Edward Fox making the analysis incomplete and unclear.

A little enraged, this ox seems always to know where to go, how to do it and what to think. Although solid and driven by a somewhat stale persistence, he is a stubborn who is however very responsible and posses the art to dominate his surroundings and events. In the heart of every ox sleeps a Napoleon or a Hieronymus having the wish to conquer, to convince and to also seduce. But if the seduction happens, it happens very recklessly, and his appetite is big. Since work is the life-content of an ox, he doesn't possess the instincts of a womanizer. In fact this rough human being is so autonomous, that he already seems boring. Since he constantly tries to give his best at work he sometimes forgets to listen to his heart.
He often possesses a green thumb along with an ecological side and thus loves nature in general and the country and/or the sea especially. Consider this bias can have different effects. He could also prefer the forest ... but only to hunt for boars and deer. This hunting ox often is a good gunman.
And what about the lively city life? He bears it. In fact this possessed being can adapt to almost anything if it is necessary... but only if it is work-related! He will always have the longing for the open wide country.
His literal patience is only an illusion; some ox - most of them - are really quick tempered, others can become quite choleric, if contradicted, betrayed or deceived. It is not wise to make this experience because an irascible ox can become truly destructive and dangerous.
Let us return to his solid and extremely diligent side. Since this materialist knows the value of work and money as well as having a sense for success he is a reliable and calming partner, unless he gets angry. He seldom has doubts and never abuses his (physical or intellectual) power since he is sincere deep down in his inner being. Sometimes cunning excites him but almost systematically he stays clear of all fraudulent things. Edward Fox wants to have a clear conscience and to keep clean hands. Thus he is tough and frightening, almost never insinuating but he wants solidity, stability and success. in love, just like at work.
His careful nature leads to not being very communicative. He rarely shows signs of affection and is most of all discrete. Edward Fox belongs to the group of people not showing their feelings and not making the impression to be considerate. You should know beforehand that if Edward Fox shows signs of affection the care and the interest in the partner (and the family) is immensely high.
Do not sulk; you have the right man at your side. And although he values the female frailty he hates childishness, coquetry, cry-babies, scenes and dispute. Never provoke him; he would explode. Edward Fox quickly sees red. He also is quick tempered, has short but violent fits of anger, is possessive and even jealous. Thus he is a person with character but very direct and loyal, of a reliable devotion and faithfulness. A woman worth of his love Edward Fox is the most faithful and most devoted man for a whole life. Alone he is a nice fellow although a bit authoritarian; a man who likes to share his tastes and his ambitions, an obsessive worker where business comes first. He cannot bare lies and schemes. Since he has an elephant's memory and is resentful it could lead to dreadful eruptions.
Do not panic if you have managed to attract him to you. Your surrounding won't influence his opinion about you in any way. But to have as many trumps as possible your apartment (or your house) should have a female touch. It has to be friendly and comfortable. It should be furnished with sofas, has a dining place in farmhouse style, a well equipped kitchen and most of all a room in your style. To make it clear: a sexy bedroom in pastel colours with carpets and a big mirror. In short a bedroom that mirrors the nature of a female spirited woman! If there is a fire burning at your living room's fire place nothing can go wrong anymore.
The ox lacks in general the finesse. He often is grouchy, stubborn and irritable. Luckily there are enough exceptions from the rule and many oxen have an artistic streak (Cocteau, Renoir, and van Gogh). You should know that all Oxen detest unnecessary discussions, superficial talk or gossip. Regarding literature and music the Ox loves the classics but rarely talks about it. It is better to talk about Nature, the Ocean and the animals, an exhaustless topic for him. Tell him about your child love and he will start to take you seriously.
If you should get your hands on the famous lectures about the hunt by Gaston Phoebus, King of Bearn you can expect his endless thankfulness. But this rather rare book is only liked by Oxen (most of all the ones with the element Wood) who like to hunt; the others will be satisfied with much less rare works about the Solonge, the Loire castles or the sport they do. A tool box, an improved tool or an old plane from your great-uncle are gifts that make a craftsmanly skilled Ox weak.
Ox and Ox
Like will to like and that two oxen might think when entering a relationship. However this relationship appears constructed as if wanting to be on the safe side, to meet the trusted rather than taking any risks. That cannot go well for long, until the two oxen compete with each other with their stubbornness. Ox and ox should extremely pay attention to what differs from the other and how those differences could make their relationship interesting.
Ox and Tiger
There are enough differences between those two if it was about opposites attracts but the reasonable ox mistrusts the rather out of joy acting tiger. The carefree way of living of the tiger infuriates the ox because stability and continuity are so important to him. There is the great danger that both don't really live together for all their life. The change can only happen if both are ready to learn from each other and consider the quirks of the other as an enrichment of their own life.
Ox and Rabbit
Rabbit and Ox are an unlike pair. Yet there is this attraction that drives them into each other arms no matter how often the relationship has been declared as a failure. The reason for crisis is quickly found. The ox quickly is fed up with the rabbit letting him pull out the chestnuts from the fire for him. In the beginning the ox may feel flattered but actually he seeks a partner he can also rely on from time to time. If this relationship should work the rabbit has to show a lot more effort in this regard.
Ox and Dragon
The ox and the dragon do not lose love for each other by nature. Understandable, if you know that both like to be in the lead and have very different opinions about how to organise life. The ox needs security, the dragon likes to risk something in order to keep his power. The danger is great that both try to outwit the other with their own means. Only if both are ready to complement the other with their respective abilities and stop fighting they can become successful; but then really successful.
Ox and Snake
Looked and found! The snake and ox get along very well because they share their liking for a harmonic togetherness and a comfortable home. In this combination the pleasant (the snake) forms with the useful (the ox) the perfect marriage. Since both don't like to stand in the foreground they will be an unobtrusive couple but if you are lucky and be their guest you quickly realise that their warm and heartfelt interaction transfers automatically to all persons present and you cannot get away from their charm.
Ox and Horse
What should the horse and the ox do with each other? The ox hates when things change too quickly and the horse cannot bear if only a second of standstill is on the horizon. It is a constant tug of war between those two. Yet, they cannot keep from each other. It is just their oppositeness which brings the sizzling excitement. Rarely this couple lasts for a long time and only then if they can rely on the tolerance of their surroundings.
Ox and Goat
Actually goat and ox get along quite well but they make it difficult for each other in the beginning. Each tries to convince the other how different one is and that this could not be in any way harmonic. However, at a closer glance those are only stale reasons because in no other than the goat the ox finds so much understanding of his sometimes odd nature and nobody could give the goat more hold in life than the ox. If both have found each other they become inseparable.
Ox and Monkey
The liveliness and flexibility of the monkey make the ox a lot nervous. Namely the ox values the world openness of the monkey, admires the ease with which the monkey moves at mental heights but the insecurity coming with that the ox does not like at all. The ox wants to be sure of his partner and thus a lot of convincing work is necessary until the ox can trust the monkey completely. The monkey should not give in too early even if the ox' tendency to control disturbs him a lot. Both simply need nerves and a big portion of humour.
Ox and Rooster
The rooster and the ox have everything needed to become a dream couple. The rooster feels protected in the safety giving power of the ox and the ox thinks the brave self-conception of the rooster is a welcomed but not exaggerated complement. The ox shares with the rooster diligence and the joy of performance and thus both quickly meet in the striving to continuously improve the living standard. It is not rare that those special fortunate prerequisites between ox and rooster last for an entire life.
Ox and Dog
It is not without hurdles if an ox and a dog find to each other. It starts with the dog and his high ideals taking offense on the pragmatic nature of the ox. Where the ox decides out of reason or sees the maximum of use the dog will align his actions on their ethical justification. Disputes are pre-programmed. However, both admire each other in secret; the dog the ox because he achieves so much in life and the ox the dog because he stays faithful to himself. In this admiration roots the passion for each other.
Ox and Pig
The pig and the ox are an uneven couple. The ox literally stands with two feet on the ground of facts and the pig is with his head constantly in the clouds. In the beginning the ox thinks the pig is an odd codger and the pig thinks the ox is bourgeois. But soon the two discover how well their different lifestyles complement each other. From this combination the power is generated to make miracles come true. If they manage to see each other as a mutual enrichment of their lives they will become more than happy with each other.
Ox and Rat
It is said that rat and ox are made for each other because their contrary natures complement each other and get the best out of each. It is important that both adjust to each other. The rat has thus to learn to accept the ox whish for stability and the ox has to give the rat space for her urge of independence. If both go hand in hand, the two can finish more things than some other combinations.
