A mysterious Black Knight crashes his horse through the Great Hall's stain-glass window and challenges the knights of Camelot to single combat. He proves an awesome warrior and the equal of any of Uther's men, but from where did he appear and what does he want? The answer gives a startling insight into Uther's past and requires Merlin to find a weapon powerful enough to slay the dead.
