Earth-Ox - The Year Sign
God: Indirect Power
The dark path leads into the impassable deep. Idle waiting cuts you off from the source of your liveliness.
Xin (Yin Metal): strong Day Master
Day pillar: Metal-Pig
God: Drastic Output
The Yin-Metal day master is mounted on the Pig. Beth Grant's universal energy is Cleansing.
Contrary to the usual stolidity of the Ox, Beth Grant is able to start every day like a new life and tackle the waiting tasks cheerfully. A clean and ordered environment is mandatory for her and in this sphere she does not tolerate intrusion. However, she is quite insecure when it comes to her looks. Here, she always needs a personal advisor because on the one hand Beth Grant wants to be colourful, but on the other she does not actually know what suits her.
To live and let live, could be Beth Grant's motto. With her tolerance and high assertiveness, she quickly advances to the leader of a group. You cannot deny that she feels incredibly well with this role. As an Ox, she possesses an unusual degree of joie de vivre. She prefers the three-star-restaurant over the cheap stew by far. Beth Grant does not want to be just fed, she wants to enjoy.
Beth Grant possesses a sense of aesthetics and decoration and is always in danger to be used by others because she does not want to recognise their motives. Being not as stable as she wants to be, Beth Grant is compassionate and likes to help others. She does not possess a lot of energy and tends to be defiant and to enter unstable relationships whereas she actually would need a stable partner. Being tender and educated, Beth Grant loves the arts, is ambitious and very much interested in the fruits of her success. The relationship to her parents may not be as good.
With the desire to be successful, Beth Grant can focus and act emotionally, intuitively and in confidence when pursuing her goals. She listens to her inner voice no matter whether it is right or wrong and is able to motivate others and lead them to success. She tends to be sad whereas justice, truth, ruefulness and yearning define her life. She loves company, is active, future-oriented, direct and honest, sensitive, mentally interested, solid, stable, reliable and honourable but also very much jealous.
Beth Grant can be moody and possesses a sharp tongue. Therefore, you have to treat carefully around her. Often she changes her living location and/or the profession. Blows of fate hit her very hard. Actually, Beth Grant is a friendly person with good manners and taste who likes to invite friends to her home hosting them well. Beth Grant is a reliable worker who does not shy away from too much work.
Beth Grant tends to overly critical behaviour also towards herself. Inferior complexes can be the result as well extreme stubbornness and premature assumptions. Exactness and precision are her strengths she should use professionally. As a partner, she is deliberate and loyal.
Forget all about the Chinese Year sign you are born in. It doesn't say much about you. Chinese astrology is much more complex!
The following table lists the heavenly stems and earth branches of Beth Grant's BAZI chart at her birth. The day master (DM), first row of the day pillar, is the self-element. It represents the me, the key from which all stems and branches receive their strength. That makes Beth Grant a Yin Metal autumn person. Metal is prosperous in autumn.
However, the day master's strength can differ from the element's season strength. The reason is the interactions of the stems and earth branches with each other. Depending on the season and type of element interaction the elements can further, control or harm each other. They can also clash.
To make those element interactions graspable, there are 10 gods; 7 Killings (7K), Direct Officer (DO), Indirect Wealth (IW), Direct Wealth (DW), Indirect Resource (IR), Direct Resource (DR), Friend (F), Rob Wealth (RW), Eating God (EG) and Hurting Officer (HO).
I'm working on a Chinese Metaphysics blog which is not online yet. In the future all of the above will be explained into depth, so you will be able to understand the meanings. For now, you find the gods for Beth Grant listed in the respective table cells.
