Metal-Ox - The Year Sign
God: Slanted Seal
The dark path leads into the impassable deep. Idle waiting cuts you off from the source of your liveliness.
Wu (Yang Earth): weak Day Master
Day pillar: Earth-Rat
God: Direct Wealth
The Yang-Earth day master is mounted on the Rat. Iain Glen's universal energy is Embryo.
Iain Glen is more or less liberated from the Ox's phlegm with a warm and pleasant demeanour in the contact with other people. He is a hot-wire to the people. With his cheeky nose he looks for a friendly place amongst them and thus, creates comfort that his commonly heavy and thorough nature would repel. Besides, Iain Glen is incredibly trusting. He assumes only the best in all people. Mistrust is not his thing. He could never imagine that a human being has hostile or evil thoughts.
Iain Glen is not as stubborn as other oxen because he possesses a more subtle and pronounced instinct and more communal spirit. That makes him flexible and charming with a greater openness towards other people. Due to a thorough need of planning, Iain Glen often complements the ponderous eagerness of the Ox with an intelligent and prudent foresight.
Iain Glen is a kind being, possesses humour and taste and it is easy for him to establish contact with other people. He tends to worry about others but not about himself. Being slower than other people, he is the more stable and consequent. Iain Glen does not waste time with big plans but deals with the real world. He is an excellent manager and organiser but sometimes has difficulties to finish a project.
Iain Glen could possess a wild, peevish nature and easily overdoes it. Luckily he calms down quite quickly and one can trust him. His focus lies on practicability because Iain Glen is not flexible and cannot do different things at the same time. He is not emotional but sensitive and expects agreement whereas he deals with his problems on his own.
Sudden change disturbs him whereas slow change he can manage quite well. He is reliable, steadfast, faithful, persistent, robust, traditional, conservative, practical, generous and loyal, full of energy, ambitious and intelligent. Iain Glen may like to collect and has a liking for real estate. He is a creative thinker, able to be enthusiastic about anything new but sometimes, others do not comprehend his plans and actions.
Iain Glen is quite sensitive but hides it behind passive resistance. If you do not mind to wait for weeks until to learn with what you had hurt your partner, you have found in him somebody who is entirely happy in a comfortable home and within the circle of his beloved ones.
Forget all about the Chinese Year sign you are born in. It doesn't say much about you. Chinese astrology is much more complex!
The following table lists the heavenly stems and earth branches of Iain Glen's BAZI chart at his birth. The day master (DM), first row of the day pillar, is the self-element. It represents the me, the key from which all stems and branches receive their strength. That makes Iain Glen a Yang Earth summer person. Earth is strong in summer.
However, the day master's strength can differ from the element's season strength. The reason is the interactions of the stems and earth branches with each other. Depending on the season and type of element interaction the elements can further, control or harm each other. They can also clash.
To make those element interactions graspable, there are 10 gods; 7 Killings (7K), Direct Officer (DO), Indirect Wealth (IW), Direct Wealth (DW), Indirect Resource (IR), Direct Resource (DR), Friend (F), Rob Wealth (RW), Eating God (EG) and Hurting Officer (HO).
I'm working on a Chinese Metaphysics blog which is not online yet. In the future all of the above will be explained into depth, so you will be able to understand the meanings. For now, you find the gods for Iain Glen listed in the respective table cells.
